Not Ready for Prime Time, Quite Yet

Well, setup was easy and I was pleased that it had an RJ45 connector and an optical out. Seems OK; however, I kept getting HDCP errors that shouldn't happen. Called Roku tech support and they couldn't fix it and had to escalate the issue. The eventually sent me an RMA number and said I needed a new unit. Disappointing. Not sure this unit is quite ready for prime time. There is supposedly some new firmware coming out to partially fix this...waiting for my new unit and we shall see how that goes. I might stay away from the Ultra until they can get this straightened out...

This western is fantastic. One of the all time greats of the genre, IMHO, with fantastic acting, direction, and story. This 4K rendering is the best picture you will ever see with this movie and, if you are a fan with a 4K set, it is the only way to watch it. Highly recommended!

Not only a great documentary with excellent commentary; but, some amazing photography. to boot. If you have a 4K UHD TV, you will truly enjoy most all of this set and also find it is re-watchable, unlike many other documentaries that you watch, enjoy, then file away. Many of the recorded scenes are reference quality. Don't expect the entire set to be perfect, as some of the scenes, although amazing for their content, were recorded on lower def cameras (some go-pro work) and don't all have the 'video-wow' that others have. That being said, I can recommend this as a blind buy for anyone with a good 4K set looking for great video and a wonderful way to get away to parts of the world that you can only dream of visiting.

Best TV I've ever owned with amazing passive 3D and viewing angles. The slight curve looks nice in the corner of our viewing room. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a premium picture with great color, contrast, and amazing pure blacks, and not pay extra for things you might not need, like a built in soundbar, etc. We went with the '16 model as we found out the 3D was not on the '17's and we still enjoy our 3D viewing. Also, research showed the increase in the picture quality from '16 to '17 was minimal compared to the huge jump from '15 to '16, so the great price was a factor, too. If you are on the fence and can afford it, you won't be sorry. My entire family fights to watch movies on it when they come over to visit and the regular Blu-ray up-scaled to 4K is spectacular...can't wait to try one of the upcoming Dolby Vision movies when they come out. Again, just check it out and you will buy one.

Bought this on sale for $120 and it is perfect for why I purchased it...I needed something inexpensive to take on trips for catching up on emails, writing letters and remoting into some of my office computers to check setups, make minor changes, etc.(I have a MacBook and just don't like the idea of losing/breaking a $1k+ lappie.) It does all that I ask of it quite well. I would have given this 5 stars; however, the touch pad is just basic and doesn't do tasks like scrolling using gestures. Also, I purchased a bluetooth mouse to use and it loses it's connection regularly (tried it on another device and had no issues, so it had to be the laptop, not the mouse). Small, light weight, decent screen, acceptable keyboard feel, long battery life and all this for a minimal price that, to me, is astounding. One year of Office 365 is included, too! Quite snappy of a performer for basic tasks with Win 10, too. Perfect for what it does, especially at this price point.

The thinnest iPad ever is also the most capable. It's loaded with advanced technologies, including the Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

Great upgrade from the iPad 3

Went to Best Buy on the promotion guaranteeing at least a $200 total credit towards a new iPad Air 2 if you brought in a working iPad 2 or later. I have an iPad 3 that I enjoyed but, due to some wrist issues, had trouble holding for long periods of time. I thought the new Air 2 might fit the bill.
I loved the weight and thinness and after checking, BB was going to give me $235 ttl credit (a 185 trade and a 50 coupon). I decided to pull the trigger and couldn't be happier. Associate recommended a new ballistic glass screen protector and I will never use the plastic ones again....the screen is so smooth and easy to navigate compared to the one I had on my iPad 3!
This new Air 2 is so much faster and smoother than the older 3. Screen seems sharper and easier to read outside in bright sunlight. Touch response is a joy. I wasn't sure I'd care about the Touch ID, BUT I LOVE IT! Haven't tried the new camera, since I'm not an iPad photo taker; however my wife ones FaceTime with her family and we tested the new front facing camera and you can definitely tell the difference. Also, I am very happy with the new, lower weight. My wrist can handle this new Air 2 without tiring out, like it did with my older 3 model.
In conclusion, an even better purchase than I thought it would be and an iPad that should serve me well for many years. If you have an iPad Air, not sure an upgrade is warranted....but if you own a version 1-4 and love your iPad, buying the Air 2 is a no brainier, I'd just spring for at least the 64gb model and ignore the 16gb, which is just not enough storage for this fast, light tablet.
