This movie looks amazing in 4k!! The picture is super sharp and close ups will blow you away! The movie is shot digitally and the transfer to 4k is one of the best out. The movie is not the best but the picture quality is demo worthy!

4K letdown buyer beware!!

This is a classic super hero movie! So you would expect it
to be one of the best looking 4K movies.. it's not!! The picture is 1080p at best. There's no noticeable difference between the 4K and the 1080p!! So if you can grab this movie for $15 or less grab otherwise save your $$$!

Fun movie but not the best in 4K!

Was super excited to get this one in 4K! But I have to say the picture on this one isn't much better than the 1080p version! This movie has the widest color pallet of any movie so I expected life like colors from the HDR. Which was decent but nothing exceptional. The detail is soft and doesn't feature that razor sharp image quality you would expect from a 4K movie. If you can pick this one up for less than $20 it's worth it. However I wouldn't recommend this movie in 4K for more than $20.

What can you say about The Martian 4K... that's it looks incredible! The shots on Mars are phenomenal and look stunning in 4K. The scenes on earth in the movie are a little on the soft side and not as sharp! But the scenes on mars are demo worthy!!

Heard this movie looks great in 4K and I was not disappointed. Caught this movie on sale for $17 in 4K @ Best Buy! Which was a steal considering how this movie is one of the best looking 4K movies available. Details are amazing everything from the moles on Morgan Freeman's face to the beauty of Scarlett in 4K is a must see.
