Coffee maker works beautifully so no complaints there. Only bummer was that I expected to get the stainless travel mug shown in the ad and on the box. Not a big deal, but disappointing.

Is this unit suitable for use with IPhone 6?
Yes. And iPad, and battery chargers, Apple watch, electric razor, electric toothbrush, etc. :) I've got all plugged in right now, and it's humming along nicely.

With the appropriate adaptor for each U S-designed plug, can it be plugged into a European-style outlet?
I am going to France next month for a river cruise. The river boat will only have the 220 plugs available in our cabin. Most of my electronic needs already can handle the dual voltage requirement for use in both the US and in Europe. If I put the appropriate plug adaptor onto this outlet's US-style plugs, can I plug it into the hotel's and the boat's 220 outlets so that I can then use my US dual voltage items without their own adaptors?
I don't know if this answer will help you now, since your trip has already passed. But for anyone else facing a similar issue, I wouldn't recommend it. My answer is not based on this particular item, but on a different USB/AC adapter. I was recently in South Africa and tried to plug a block similar to this one into a wall using the appropriate S.A. adapter. Heard a loud pop and then the lights went out. My dad used a regular old power strip in his room and had no issues. Guess you can always take both, and use the power strip as a backup.
