I let my son by these cards with his allowance rather than attach my credit card to the Nintendo Eshop. Keeps my son from over spending and giving me a heart attack when I check my credit card statement.

I find myself buying these whenever I have a rewards certificate. That was when the Playstation Store has a Flash Sale I have credit ready. Great way to get cheap digital games c

Great music, graphics, action, and decent story. Just know that this is not a sequel or reboot to the original Appleseed Anime Movie. Rather it is a completely alternate introductory story. It takes the place of the original Appleseed. Still a really good movie.

I was having a lot of fun with this game. Its very much like the Dead Island Series but the Parkour movement makes it feel new and much more interesting. Sadly a major bug has popped up in the game. Recently many people have been posting that their characters xp points are reset and their entire inventory lost, while not losing their actual story progress. I was about 50% through the game when this happened to me. Imagine loading your game to find out you've been reset back to Level 1 while the enemies you are fighting are still at Level 16 or so... After all that time spent leveling up my character in the game, I didn't want to restart from the beginning. As of yet, there is no fix or even acknowledgment of this bug, so I was not willing to restart only to have it happen again. So I would say its a great game but if you are planning to buy it, make sure they have fixed this bug before you do, other wise you'll probably just be extremely frustrated by it.

I went in thinking this would be something more akin to the Resident Evil 4. The first thing that killed it for me was the letter boxing of the screen. My screen is already 16:9 and I lost another 2 inches on the top and bottom. Since this isn't a movie, I can't figure out the reasoning behind this. It also made some of the gameplay very difficult since I couldn't see much with the reduced screen size. Also the gore was too much for me... I like zombie games and don't mind some blood, etc... but this game felt like they were adding gory sadistic moments just for the sake of shock value. Lastly the problem for we was the story. I thought this was a cop saves the day from a violent outbreak of some-kind. Rather it was a strange psychological horror fest. It was hard to tell what was real and what was a dream/mental breakdown (think indigo prophecy strange with much more blood). Others have given this game much higher scores and maybe it deserves them. I should have done more research before purchasing it. I just heard it was being made by the same guy who did Resident Evil 4 and picked it up when I saw it in store. So is it a good game... I think it depends on your expectations going in. For me sadly, not my cup of tea but please go look at some other professional reviews and gameplay video clips so you can decide for yourself before you buy.
A sprawling metropolis in the not-so-distant future. Premise: A catastrophic event has left the city in ruins and most of its inhabitants are either dead or have been transformed into horrifying mutants. For most people, being dropped down into these kinds of circumstances would mean certain death. Not only are you fighting for survival in a postapocalyptic city, but you're attempting to escape the nightmarish transformation that has claimed most of the survivors. Good thing you're not like most people.Dive into the open-world shooter of Sunset Overdrive, and prove that you've got what it takes to survive catastrophe. With a knack for traversing the ruined city with hyper agility, it's a simple matter to survive postapocalyptic conditions. When it comes to the mutants, not only are you escaping their transformation, but you've found your true calling ~ mutant destroyer. A fully loaded arsenal of overpowered weapons back you up and make it totally clear that the end of days is just the beginning for you. It's your turn to star in this end-of-the-world storyline.

This game is at least a 3/5. It really reminds of Dead Rising 3. Open city, strange combo weapons, and hordes of creatures to fight, with fetch quest and the usual in-store. What makes it different is the skate controls, is what I would call it. Instead of running everywhere or using vehicles, you grind ledges of buildings, fences and other things to travel swiftly. You also use parkour like moves along with crazy high jump/bounces to move up and down the outside of buildings. It is an interesting concept and feeling but I'm not sure if I really like the feel of the character movement. Its not in anyway bad, just different and personally I can't decide if I like it or not. Also the humor is way over the top. Again this is a personal preference thing. If you think the humor in Dead Rising is over the top than this is out of the park. Watch some youtube video's of gameplay before you buy. While I had fun playing it, I don't know if I had MSRP money's worth fun of playing it. Personally I wish I had waited till it was a reduced price title, but who knows, you may find it awesome.

Great game at a reduced price with all the season pass content included. If you have already played the dead rising series, I think you'll really like this latest game. While previous entries in the series were tied to relatively small enclosed areas, this is an open city that you can move freely in without loading times. All the best fun parts of the previous games are in this game and some of the old issues are gone. Loading between area's is pretty much gone, inventory access is much easier, and using the guns in the game is a lot easier (Think third person shooter feel, than the old previous push x to shoot in the area of the enemy). Also some people loved the frantic timed missions from the previous games, other not so much. This latest entry allows you to play either with the missions set to short timed period or you can have the mission open as long as you don't complete the main story mission which progress the story chapter. All in all, I think it is a great game with tongue in cheek humor and all the fun of the previous games with new additions that just really increase the games enjoyment,
