A Compatible DVD Drive for My PC

Just wanted to replace the DVD drive in my big PC (i7, Windows 7, 24GB of RAM, 7 TB of disk). Old one was no longer functional. Was an easy replacement. Old one out, new one in, installed the software. Played a movie just to check it out. Also burned a data disk. No complaints.

Beginner's Windows 8.1 PC

My Dad (87) is having problems with his Windows XP PC so I bought this for him to see if he could adapt to Windows 8.1. He mostly uses his for email and to surf the web so he doesn't need much power or storage space. This was a clearance item from a local Best Buy. Seems fully functional. Haven't had any issues at all so far. My first Pentium PC was an Acer and I never had any problems with it.

can this device be used to charge a laptop?
This USB hub doesn't have it's own power supply so it can't be used to charge anything on it's own.

Can this be used with Windows 10?
I am a pilot and need to use several devices on for my home flight simulator. My main unit do not support more than 2 devices on the hubs included on the yoke part. My simulator system is Saitek. Can I use this product to expand my unit and to activate the rest of the system? (Radios, Switch and Autopilot panel) Note: My computer unit is a HP 110 Desktop PC Model 110-406 and only have 2 hubs available after connecting the keyboard and the mouse and the others do not support too much voltage it said on screen. Thanks a lot.
The USB hub does work with Windows 10 but you would probably be better off with a powered USB hub for your specific application. Best Buy has several to pick from.
