Is the pro or standard ring waterproof? Not weather resistant but waterproof. Where I would place it is completely uncovered and would be exposed to rain.
I have the Ring Pro which the only exposure to weather would be the two screws on the back where the wires attach . If moisture is a problem in your location you could easily seal the connections with anything such as a waterproof glue like Elmer's or Tite Bond III . I doubt that you would need to .
