The people who installed my washing machine did a great job of protecting my wooden stairs (since my laundry room is upstairs). They explained everything nicely and cleaned up after themselves. It was a pleasure to have them in my house.

This Samsung washer does a great job at washing. It doesn't spin as hard as the Samsung washers before the recall. I love the ability to pause and add more stuff to the load if I've forgotten something.

Can you purchase the active wash tray I'm seeing the same model same look but has a active wash tray currently as of now for only 30$ more my wife really wanted that stupid tray she would be mad if she finds out its only 30$ more for virtually the same wa
I can't answer if you can buy the tray separately but maybe I can help you with your wife :) I have the washer with the tray and I thought I'd REALLY like it, but I don't. It's only good until you decide to wash something. If you have something soaking and want to wash a different load, the tray must be lifted in order to start that load. For example, if you're soaking something in bleach and you need to wash a load that does not require bleach, you can't. You either have to wash a load with bleach or wash JUST that one soaking piece.
I don't mind that I have it since I did buy it, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it or say it's a definite must have.
