I'm a purist with the Star Trek shows. Never been a fan of the offshoots. When I saw the 1st Star Trek, I was happily surprised with the acting, the humor, and the true to form plot line. In this sequel, the story twists a bit, but not enough to pull away from the original premise.

A wonderful adaptation to a timeless story

Action, suspense, sorrow, pain, love, destiny, & humor
Amazing special effects, and quite a different way in which to incorporate old fable into today's technology
The bluray version with all the extras were worth the couple $$ more. The extended version was the best
Feel sorry for those whom didn't opt for the the extras package
Will definitely watch many times
