I use these on the ceiling for my home theatre sporting the pro monitor 800's for atmos these are a solid mount used 50 pound metal drywall anchors to hold them in place. Even with tons of bass pumping( two svs pb-2000 and 4 bp-8060 towers) I haven't noticed the speakers drop or move in any way they hold the speaker tight and secure unlike some of the other reviews I read. operator error maybe.

Bought these speakers to utilize the atmos capability of my denon avr-x4200. I have them mounted on the ceiling of my living room/home theatre using the pro mount 80's and ran the speaker wire in the attic and down the wall into my av cabinet. The added effects of these speakers are great for overhead sounds falling rain or whatever. Great substitution for in ceiling speakers especially if you rent like me. pure bliss!

Bought this for my gf for Christmas and she loves it like absolutely loves it. She uses it so much she is bouncing off the walls constantly because she keeps trying different ways to make her coffee and frothing flavored creams and whatever. My Yamaha Amp Model: RX-A740BL volume is very low while watching movies
When I put the amp on halfway you can barely hear it.. The television volume is louder and I have a Sony xbr55x850B
Try recalibrating with the YPAO mic and make sure the room is silent. Check the settings on it after wards. If not get a spl meter and set every speaker to 75db
