Quite frankly, I'm surprised that there was even an option to review a PSN credit purchase. Not the wisest investment I've ever made, but I did recently purchase Shadow of War, so I'm sure I'll need the extra dough to enjoy the full game.
On the plus side, at least my credit card can't get hacked via PlayStation Network (again).

Fantastic presentation

Picture quality and motion are superb (my eyes are very sensitive to judder). Color accuracy is great, well-calibrated out of the box, and has a wealth of adjustment options. It's no OLED, but it also costs half as much.
The build quality and overall presentation are top-notch, no complaints there. Remote must be pointed at the center of the screen to register input, which is a minor annoyance. I mostly control it from my phone, swiping with the Android TV app (which is a bit of a mess if you try to use the voice or keyboard, but I'm not docking a Sony product because of an Apple/Google issue). The Android OS is a touch laggy at times, but no worse than other smart TVs I have used.
Given its specs, looks, price, and performance, this movie buff gives it a 5/5 stars.

The Best Way to Watch

I became a fan of The Wire after watching it on DVD. I remember the old format aspect ratio (those black bars on the sides, ugh) and the ugly DVD compression distracting me. Luckily, and believe the hype, it is one of the best television shows ever written, so I was able to look past all that.
This is not pan-n-scan, not letterboxed, and fully HD. This is how it should have been.

Excellent processor and video card can run just about anything. Great value for under $1,000. The only two drawbacks are a terrible battery life (3 hours) and a 5,400 RPM hard drive that bottlenecks the system. Replace it with an SSD and you're running a very capable workstation that can also run most any game on high settings.
