Good free protection for my ipad

This free 6 month subscription came with purchase of my new ipad. I only have it installed on the one ipad, although it is good for three devices. Setting up account was kind of a pain, but after that, download and install was simple. Setting up features is easy, it works in the background, so not bothersome. I get emails periodically to notify me of how well it is protecting/not protecting. Seems to me like it is working great. Gives me more peace of mind if I have to use my ipad over a public WiFi, which I only do when I travel. Good for 6 months, will see if it is worth upgrading to full service.

Like it, but wish it felt more like a “pencil”

This is my first time using Apple Pencil. Was excited about compatibility with the new ipad, as before only the iPad Pro could use Apple Pencil. It is a little heavier than I expected. Works as promised, but wish it felt more like using a real “pencil”. But maybe that is bc I am using it on a slick iPad screen. More of a grip for holding would be nice too. It is very smooth and slick. Charging is kind of awkward-dealing with all the small pieces makes me nervous bc I am somewhat of a klutz and worry I will drop a piece, lose it, etc. You have to remove the cap, then place attachment on end, THEN plug that into your charging cable. Awkward. Also, there is no way to tell it is charged fully on its own. Your ipad battery indicator will show you how much battery life remains, but that is the only way to tell. Charges fast, battery could last longer. I use it mostly right now for note-taking, and haven’t fully explored it’s use with drawing, etc.

Great capabilities at reasonable price point

Had been looking at upgrading my old ipad2 for over a year, and was not quite satisfied with the options available at that time. Either spend less and get an ipad that had less features than I desired, or splurge and go with the iPad Pro and pay for some features that I might not even use. When this came out in April I purchased within the first week. It balanced some of the features of the Pro, such as compatibility with the Apple Pencil, and faster processor than the previous model. Slightly larger screen size would have been perfect for me, but at the current price point, this ipad has great features. I am so glad I waited for this model. Haven’t quite explored all the features, but as a creative person, the possibilities are much more expanded with Apple Pencil compatibility. This ipad is FAST too. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade.

Great accessory for ipad

Got this as add-on, offered at half-price by Best Buy with ipad purchase. It is nice bc it gives added flexibility when I need to do extended typing. Folds up and supports iPad at convenient angle, rather than typing on flat surface. Also allows more screen visibility bc on-screen keyboard does not cover screen when you use the keyboard. It does add some bulk to the iPad but it is easy to remove the ipad and carry alone when you don’t need the keyboard. Not sure how long this would last, so I paid the extra $4.95 for geek squad protection for two years. I use a padded tablet sleeve to keep this in when traveling. I would not recommended traveling without an extra sleeve. Overall I am happy with this, though it would be nice if it was backlit for use at night. But for this price, that would not be an option.

Fantastic animation, but the story underwhelmed me

I had previously watched Spirited Away, by the same studio, and other family members had just finished reading the book on which this movie is based. So we were looking forward to watching this. I had decided to purchase and not just borrow from the local library. Unfortunately, though the animation is fantastic, the story was underwhelming. My daughter and husband said the story was not like the book at all. I was left feeling like more should have happened; the story seemed to lack energy and did not seem to lead to a satisfying conclusion. Will watch again, but overall a little disappointed. Spirited Away is better.

Bought this for my 12 year old who was continually breaking cheap in-ear earbud type headphones. She requested over the ear headphones to use while streaming shows, playing games, etc. on her tablet. They fit her well, plus I paid only a few extra dollars for the protection plan for 2 years. So if she breaks them, all I have to do is bring it back to the store. I am happy with these. Good basic, over the ear headphones, and not overpriced. Definitely worth the extra cost for extending the protection if you have kids.

Poor fit and sizing inaccurate

I bought this for my Fitbit Blaze while out of town, as my original band was about to fall apart. Sizing specified once size fits most, but did not really indicate any measurements or S/M/L, etc. like other bands. First, it was DIFFICULT to maneuver the pins to attach to the frame. Secondly, as I had feared because I have a small wrist, it was also too long. This item was returned to the store. Price was too high also.

They are nothing special, and frankly, don't seem to fit as well in my ears as my old Sony earbuds. The control buttons are confusing and it is easier to just to control my music from my phone. Interesting retake on the Jungle Book

Overall a good family film. I have seen many versions of the Jungle Book, and this one is different because of the fact that the only real human in the film is Mowgli. Hard for an actor to pull this off. With so much screen time and interaction only with CG animals (green screen shots), he has to be believable, which at first I was unsure of. He does grow on you though. Themes of overcoming abandonment, family, strength all positives.

Got this for my husband who likes the whole Moby Dick thing. This was overall pretty good, which I would expect from Ron Howard. Engaging story, good action and characters. Special effects were a little over done- at times, you could tell when something was all CGI. But good movie- I would watch this again.
