This is a humorous and heart-warming film for both children and adults. There are themes of revenge and redemption which may be too strong for very young kids.
Brothers Hiro and Tadashi have created a robot named Baymax whose specialty is health care. Some things go bad and big problems materialize.

If you didn't care for the first two "Museum" movies, try to avoid this one. The plot involves the erosion of the magic "Tablet" causing a chaotic situation among the museum characters. Appearances by well-known stars like the late Robin Williams, Ricky Gervais and Hugh Jackman are much needed high points, but don' t make this movie special. The kids will love it, though.

Not as good as the first 2 Hunger Games movies

To understand this partial third movie in the Hunger Games series you absolutely need to see the first two. There is no lead-in "Previously in the Hunger Games"...
Katniss, played by Jennifer Lawrence, is reluctantly recruited to lead a rebellion. A war of propaganda among Peeta, played by Josh Hutcherson, the government and Katniss is pretty much the plot.
There is less action in this third chapter but Jennifer Lawrence remains terrific as Katniss.
See it to keep the sequence intact but don't expect anything above and beyond..

A Boyhood progression portrayed naturally

Although Patricia Arquette and Ethan Hawke are familiar enough to invite fans to watch this movie, it's the age progression of characters Mason and sister Sam that make this movie unique. Boyhood was filmed over a 12 period so separate actors for young and old characters aren't necessary. Mason is played by Ellar Coltrane and his sister's character is played by Lorelei Linklater, the daughter of Director Richard Linklater. Definitely Oscar worthy.

To combine fantastic set decoration, special effects, music & dance, flying and present everything LIVE....That is absolutely astounding. Although it was important to view it live, the DVD simply repeats the experience. Christopher Walken's performance was the only negative in that he appeared to be disconnected.
