So nice not to have to use my hands to manipulate a GPS. This is an amazing product. Voice command is so easy to use and it will work with your Bluetooth phone as well if you do not have it in your vehicle.

I used MapSource with my old Garmin Nuvi.

Does trip routing take the place of Mapsource?
I use basecamp from Garmin. Never used Mapsource.
