It's a beautiful movie and a must watch.

I've just recently been introduced to the magic that is Studio Ghibli and Miyazaki. I started with My Neighbor Totoro and now this is the second film I've watched by the famous studio.
For background, I don't really watch anime, or cartoons for that matter. However, this movie transcends its medium and is utterly beautiful. The Blu-Ray is wonderfully done and the images really pop. The story is a great derivation of "Gulliver's Travels."
In short, it's worth every penny.

Classic film for halloween time.

The film itself was just as good as the first time I saw it when I was 9 or 10. The transfer to Blu-Ray was done well; however, there were some artifacts visibly present during a few scenes. Overall, if you're looking to buy the original Halloween and don't want to buy all of the other nonsensical sequels, this is the best version to get.
