There was a flash sale online for this item and I bought it. Went to the store to pickup and found out it was an open box. Got it home, and re-opened it to find the battery pack missing.... Had to go back and get exchange since flash sale did not say open box. Exchanged item was fine.

Battery life in cold weather?
My son snow boards a lot, how long will battery last ?
The stock battery lasts up to 2.5 hours, and the backpack gives you up to 2.5 hours more.
In cold weather, you may loose 10 to 15%, but in the waterproof case the warm camera itself will keep the battery warm enough to negate much loss if any.
