Poor story and online is hampered by cheaters

The story takes a back seat to the loot driven third person shooter gameplay in a game rundown NYC cityscape. A majority of this game is tied to the online gameplay, though you can do all the missions solo and offline.
Once you go online, you will find a bevy of hacks and cheaters who will outgun and outrun you every time. It is unfortunate and as such I cannot recommend it at this time.

A large sweeping journey starting a boy and his part-dog, part-bird, part-cat friend. Light on dialog, the story is told through the scenery, character interactions and puzzle solving.
Controls can be quite finicky, but for some reason it makes sense - when has your mythological bird dog cat ever listened to you when you tried to tell it what to do?
Great characters, you will become deeply attached to Trico and the boy.

This is an action game that is heavily influenced by the fighting genre. It plays like a visceral game of Rock Paper Scissors, whereby you must predict where and how an enemy is going to attack, and either dodge or counterattack. That is easier said than done, as while you are dueling with one other person, there is a whole battlefield full of enemies and other online players hunting you down.
This is an online only game, be aware that even the single player has an always online requirement.

This is a silly, over the top explosion simulator. Just Cause has a shallow and forgettable story, with boring characters and dull missions. However, this game is amazing due to the insane scale of destruction, huge explosions and large Arsenal of weapons.
On Xbox One, this game has loooooong load times and an inconsistent frame rate. I personally did not experience these issues to the degree others reported, though I amp laying on an Xbox One Elite which has a faster SSD Hard Drive installed.
Turn your mind off and shoot everything colored red. It's great!

Feels like a free game once you boot up

It's not necessarily a good thing that a full priced game addresses the player in the same manner as a free to play title. This game is riddled with strange unlock systems and in-game purchases. There's even a boost to XP purchase that intensifies when more people on your squad use it. This leads to peer pressure to buy XP boosters, as you don't want to be the person preventing your team from having 100% more xp (vice just 75% more).
Outside of the money grabbing attempts, this is a shallow shooter with limited maps and repetitive game modes. No single player story, and a lack of character personality add up to an underwhelming experience.

This game is leaner on the exploration and direct story than Skyrim, though it is immense and densely detailed for an MMO. This product is a fantastic set top streaming tv device. The apple name brings a hefty price, but this device is faster and has a a leaner UI than the Roku or Google devices I have used. Your mileage may vary based onto it iTunes library (which is seamless between devices once synced) or the streaming apps you are subscribed to.
