Not much that one can say about HDMI cables that hasn't already been said, but here goes. I have two of these in 12' length that I had to snake through a wall, including through 2 studs. The ends of these cables are low profile without sharp edges, which made it easy to get them through tight spaces. In terms of functionality, well, they work just fine. They're a bit pricey, but I'd recommend them.

This is a one-size-fits-all solution. You basically end up with super long hoses that have to be coiled up and stuffed behind the washer. For probably 95% of installations, ~3 feet of hose would suffice. I would recommend just buying the hoses separately and at a length that is appropriate for your installation.

Good for small loads or things that you want to keep separate, like whites, kids' sports outfits, etc. One downside is that it can't be operated at the same time as the main washer without interrupting the distribution of water to it. So if you're thinking about getting this to do 1.5 loads simultaneously, forget about it. You'd be better off getting a larger front-loading washer with a sensing feature that can adjust to small loads when that's all you need. .

What can really be said about a dryer pedestal? Yes, it does what it's supposed to (hold up dryer to a more convenient height), but that's about it. There's a slide out drawer with a divider that currently holds the owner's manual and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. The crux of the matter is this: If you don't want your dryer sitting on the floor, you can either build something yourself or (over)pay >$250 for this glorified metal box. If you don't have time to build something, you'll just have to get comfortable with getting gouged. Thanks LG!

VERY Disappointed!

Lots of complaints here: 1) The two "installers" really didn't appear to know what they were doing; took forever (>3 hours), and I had to redo what they had done. 2) Didn't seem to care; one guy dropped the pedestal washer off the truck, rather than ask his partner to help him lift it down. 3) Damaged everything; all appliances were scratched on their sides from going through a metal-framed basement door, and I now have a slow leak in the plumbing from where they torqued the connector. With the 3 hours that these clowns spent in my basement and the 2 hours that it took me to fix their installation, the better part of a Saturday was wasted.

This is your basic dryer vent kit. The flexible duct material is fine - pretty much what you get with any kit. But the ring clamps are really cheap an of low quality construction. I had this installed, but then went back and swapped out the ring clamps with ones that I bought separately.

This dryer cord is required for successful hook-up of your new appliance. Our delivery personnel will determine whether a 3- or 4-prong cord is needed based on the outlet behind your existing dryer.

Not much that I can say about power cords that hasn't already been said, but this is an easy solution - just buy the cord with the dryer, rather than look for the cord elsewhere. The installers came with two different types and chose the one that fit the plug. No hassle.
