Can I use this through my iMac to XBOX360?
Before I bought this product I watched YouTube video how people were able to use this to play XBO360 on a iMac. Today I just bought it and now people are saying its only for second monitors or something like that. If someone is reading this please tell me if I can use my iMac as a monitor for my XBOX360 or that its only for second monitors.
You cannot, this is only for outputting to screen or monitor. You need and input device similar to a capture device to use iMac as a recorder for your Xbox.

Even the website doesn't state if this is active or passive
It is active and does pass audio through hdmi port.
