Getting the system up and running took more effort than I expected. The system does ok with remote veiwing but on the notifications for motion triggers I kept getting repeated false alarms even after adjusting the sensitivity. Wound up taking the product back.

can this camera be mounted upside down and still view normally ?
Yes you can mount this camera upside down and rotate the head till the image is in normal position.
