Everything was fine but the kit was not needed since I replaced all the parts the last time I bought a dishwasher. The only caveat is that I needed to buy a $6 part from Home Depot to connect the water supply - it's a 90 degree connector since the inlet is now on the bottom of the dishwasher instead of the back.

Bought based off Consumer Reports rating. So very quiet. Because it's a stainless steel interior there seems to be less room than older dishwashers but the lack of sound more than makes up for it. Didn't need the installation kit but had to buy a 90 degree water input junction as the connection is now on the bottom of the washer.
