All ten episodes of the award-winning medical drama series' second season, set in 1901, is available in this collection. Dr. John Thackery (Clive Owen) continues to perform cutting-edge operations, including an electrical brain stimulation and a devised procedure to seperate conjoined twins, all while battling a heroin addiction that is becoming increasingly dire. Meanwhile, the gifted Dr. Algernon Edwards (Andre Holland), who has ascended to the role of acting chief of surgery, continues to face racially-charged disrespect while dealing with the reappearance of his strong-willed wife, Opal (Zaraah Abrahams).
