Plays blu-rays and DVDs flawlessly. Streams Amazon Prime Instant Videos OK but needs to buffer the feed for 60 seconds or so to play HD content. The buffering occurs when starting the streaming but doesn't interrupt the show. I actually thought there was something wrong with the device but found that it's normal. Not at all a negative and there are no real cons to speak of.
