This shows Jimi performing in concert at Berkely during the turbulent 60s. Protest and riot footage is mixed with "street" interviews and interviews with people involved with the music, including Jimi. Some great playing by Hendrix. Some great crowd reactions, too... check out the two young ladies up front! haha!

War film with a twist

I think this is an excellent movie. It shows some of the dangers and hardships of submariners...only this film shows it from the German side in WWII. It struck me that whatever side they were fighting for, the men faced similar obstacles. It was also a real insight to life on a submarine during wartime. I know that U.S. servicemen faced the same things. People are the same all over is what I took from this film.
