A poignant look at growing up

This is a good movie, and one that you can watch more than just once and enjoy. It's both funny and dramatic, and paints a poignant picture of growing up in a football culture, and of high school in general.

I love this movie! It's exactly what it says it is...............snakes, on a plane. It's fun, campy, and even a little suspenseful at times. Loved it!! Added bonus: My husband is terrified of snakes, and this got some girl-like screams out of him!!

Everyone should see this movie at least once. It gives a whole new dimension to "dueling banjos" and is a classic story. It also show why Burt Reynolds was so popular with the ladies back in the day. A suspensful, enjoyable film......but not for the youngsters.

My husband would give this movie 5-stars, hand-down. I only gave it four because I think it's a little too long, and I think Mel Gibson overacts in some spots. It's a good movie, though.
