Very good computer speaker system

The sound that comes from this computer system is awesome. The small subwoofer produces good bass for its size and the two satellite speakers can fill a large room with excellent sound. Great for anyone wanting to "rock'n'roll". Setup is straight forward. Just make sure you space the satellite speakers apart to get separation and the subwoofer is placed for optimal sound. The only drawbacks are that once this system is connected to an electrical source (110v), it stays on (not good if you're trying to save electricity). Also, the price for this system is retailed for over $100 (you're paying for the name on the label).

What's not so great: No on/off switch. Power stays on all of the time. Pricey.

Boost WIFI performance

The router modem supplied by AT&T for U Verse is not adequate enough to supply a strong WIFI signal to all areas of a home. If you have a basement and your router/modem is located on the ground floor your signal in the basement more than likely will be weak (bad for streaming video). This would also apply to a home with multiple levels where the router /modem is located on the ground floor. After installing this device, coupled with a Netgear router, signal strength increased to a consistent 5 bars. Setup of these devices is fairly easy for someone familiar with the technology, however, would recommend having professional installation for those who are not. Since many factors can influence signal strength in any size home or office, finding a good location is paramount to achieving good results.
