Even though it does add to the size of the controller, it works ok. I don't like that it defaults to a built in sound device when I turn my system on, and the battery life is not that good, but I don't really use the extra charge, I just plug in my controller. I don't send a lot of messages and as such don't really use the device as much as I thought I would.

All around a good remote that works with the PS4, but can be a little tricky to make work. I have to hit the blue PS button to get it to sync to my system and sometimes I still doesn't respond, but when I am watching Blu-Rays once I get it connected, it seems to work OK!, Some features are still not working like the pause, rewind, fastfwd, have to use the normal keys like XOY or Square to get those functions to work.

Depending on how the drive is formatted, it will work right out of the box for the HP laptop. For the Xbox you will have to format it to work with that system as most game systems use a special format.
