can i save scanned files directly to the SD memory card?
when scanning a picture is there an option to save the file directly to the memory card or do you have to send the scanned file to a PC?
Yes this is an option and the SD memory slot is right on the front of the printer.

Does the cord unplug from the headphone?
No these headphones are wired.
