Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/Digital. When aliens misinterpret video-feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war against them, they attack the Earth, using the games like PAC-MAN, Donkey Kong, Galaga, Centipede and Space Invaders as models for their various assaults. President Will Cooper (Kevin James) has to call on his childhood best friend, '80s video game champion Sam Brenner (Adam Sandler) to lead a team of old-school arcaders (Peter Dinklage and Josh Gad) to defeat the aliens and save the planet.

brings back so many memories

growing up in the 80s, i played pretty much every game that was shown in this movie. and they were played in the arcade, not at home on a computer or console. it brought back memories of spending many hours in an arcade and feeding quarters in just about every machine in the place. the movie overall definitely isn't on any "best of" list, but the nostalgia factor for me is what sold me on it. and i can certainly see myself watching this over and over.

a decent start to another storyline

i like pretty much everything about this movie. i like the characters, the story, the pacing, etc. i think it's a good way to start a series about ant-man. and it left me wanting more and being anxious for the next in the series.

the second chapter in the terminator series leaves me with a feeling of the star wars legacy. whereas the second movie in that series is better than the first. and the same holds true with this one. i really like the first terminator, as it was the original. but the second one is the better of the two. james cameron gave us the best of the terminator series with this one.

as a star wars fan from the beginning, i will watch anything related to star wars. and this chapter didn't disappoint me. i love the story and the inclusion of the original characters in relation to the new characters. and it only makes me want to see the next movie that much more.
also, LOVE that is was offered in a steelbook case. my collection of these is growing.

finally! we finally have a deadpool movie. and thankfully it was done right. nothing was off limits in this gem. this is one comic book movie that is definitely NOT for the kids. this one is for the grownups. and i absolutely loved it.

i liked this movie, but it just didn't have that pixar feel to it, in my opinion. it's a good movie and i really enjoyed watching it. but there's just something about it that doesn't say "pixar".

this is a great way to start the justice league universe. i was hesitant to see ben affleck as batman, but he did it well. and gal gadot's turn as wonder woman was a great way to start her journey into her own films.

the game, itself, is great. it allows for multiple play-throughs and each time you do, you can find something new you didn't see or do the last time. the studio has been around long enough they know how to make a proper game. the look, feel, and play-ability of the game are all top-notch.
the collectibles in this version are, however, not. the statue in this chapter is not as good as in the previous one. i was looking forward to having the two statues side-by-side on my shelf. the one from this chapter is a good bit larger than the previous model. and the quality and details aren't as good, either. still, it's nice to have another statue.
on the game itself, i would definitely recommend it. on the collectibles, i would only recommend to someone who is a completion-ist.
