I have owned several of the past models and have always loved them, accidentally dropped and stepped on my 975 so I picked up this one. Great with my iPhone 5 for calls and listening to music! Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because they changed the earpiece a little (doesn't feel as secure), but I just swapped it with my old one.

Purchased to use with my iPad Air to watch movies on. Plugged it into my computer... Drag and dropped a few movies (not USB 3.0) removed it, downloaded the app from the App Store, searched for the wifi point on my iPad and boom! -ps if it's not on your movie list, it probably isn't the right file type. Use handbrake and go mp4

I am going to migrate to yosemite on my mac. I need a full backup of my mac. Will this product do that? I have a minimal amount of files - most of them are in the cloud.

is it possible to increase the disk space by added an external drive?
I'm worried I will run out of space and would like to be able to increase storage space.
Yes. Typically at this point you would start to move the files that you use/access less frequent to the external drive, and leave the ones you regularly use on your computer. Typically a good idea to get a drive largest enough to back up your entire computer and have plenty of space left over for additional media.
