Defective unit with great customer service

Verified Purchase:Yes

The unit did not function properly. I was unable to complete a backup by design. The customer service from WD was fantastic. Near real time email responses and positive support. Ultimately WD told me the unit was defective and to return it... because it was defective I decided to go with a different company after the return, but the customer service was good enough to bring me back to WD at some future point.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
