After researching online, I bought these because all the rest of my home theater speakers are Klipsch, and I think very highly of the brand. Also, the price was very reasonable. All things considered, they are just what I was looking for. I can use them out on the deck, take them on vacation to use with my iPhone, and use them everyday with my home computer. What else could you want??

What's great about it: Great sound, portability.
What's not so great: no ON/OFF switch, must use plug
