I bought this for my older laptop so I could connect to a bluetooth speaker.
I thought all I would have to do is plug it in and presto, instant blue tooth compatibility. Not so!! The hardware installation says to install the software for the new device, however, there is no software and the trouble shooter could not find it on line. How do I get it to work?
it is likely that the issue is with the Bluetooth Speaker and not the Bluetooth USB adapter. I would go to the speaker manufacture's website and see if they have a driver for the device. Hope this is helpful.
