easy to add rear speakers for 5.1/7.1 sound without lifting carpet or running wires through the walls. Reasonable clarity and response. Great for gaming and movies.

can i use something different for a transmitter other than the one that come with the reciever?

I have a rocketfish RF-WHTIB (reciever) and I don't have a transmitter what can I use
Doubtful. The transmitter and receiver are paired at the factory. My transmitter went tango-uniform and I had to replace with a new kit. The new transmitter would not communicate with the old receiver.

can one transmitter be paired to 2 receivers?

I have 2 Rocketfish rear speaker kits. I want to use one transmitter to send to 2 receivers, one receiver at the left speaker and another receiver at the right speaker. Otherwise wires still have to be run from a single receiver to the left or right speaker which could be as much as 10-12 feet away with doorways in between.for example.
The transmitter and receiver units are frequency paired at the factory. The probability the two Rocketfish receivers have the same pairing is slim. You could connect both transmitters to your audio receiver, connecting one to the left speaker output and the second transmitter to the right output.

will the rocketfish wireless speaker kit work with the Yamaha RX-V573

The transmitter connects to the speaker outputs on the back of the receiver. Brand should be immaterial.
