Is there cloning software included at no charge with this drive?
I didn't receive any cloning software with this item, but Macrium Reflect is a good free backup, cloning software that i have used.

Would this Hard Drive work on an Alienware M14 x
This hard drive should work on both Mac's and Pc's. I believe it is 7200 rpm, better for faster access. The WD HDD black should have a 5 year warranty.

Will this work with a 2011 Macbook pro?
You can check for compatiblity on the WD website or on the box if in a big box store.
This should work fine with Mac's, but look for the Osx version first.

Would this be compatible with the Inspiron 15, 3521? Would it be better to go with a larger drive and with 7200 RPM?
WD hard drives have always been the most reliable and best warranteed products that I have seen. I use them when I can for repairing customer computers, Pc's and Mac's.. I aim for the 7200rpm speed for the access time it provides over 5400rpm. The 500GB drive is a good price point and

My friend told me my hard drive need to be replace will this one solve my problem
For this to work, you need to make sure your hard drive is bad. The guidelines for a bad hard drive are slowness, when everything else is ruled out; or a clicking or whirring sound coming from the drive. Before you commit to buy, make sure this is a hardware issue, not a software issue, like a corrupt OS.
