Great Blu-Ray, But Movie is of Middling Quality

I love the packaging of this exclusive to Best Buy blu-ray of Amazing Spider-Man 2. The picture and audio quality are outstanding, which is typical of a modern Sony release. The movie itself is dissapointing. Electro's motive for hating Spider-Man is not interesting or compelling. If more time had been spent developing his character, Electro may have been a memorable villain.
I did enjoy the ending, since it is similar to the finale told in comic books. If you are Spider-Man fan, you might enjoy this.

Outstanding Durable Earphones

I bought these on sale from Best Buy for $100 and was easily the best purchase that I made in 2014. The Monster - DNA On-Ear Headphones simply deliver great sound for music and movies. There is not as much bass as the Beats Solo HD earphones, which is preferable. I have an app in my iPhone that has a seven band equalizer which allows me to adjust the sound to my preference, so extra bass is not required. I can add it if I want.
The buttons on the cable need to be pressed a little harder than other earphones, which worried me. I was concerned that I might break the buttons. After more than a month of use, it is functioning properly. I love these earphones.

Outstanding Restoration

When The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was released in theaters I was 6 years old. Horror movies frightned me as a child, yet my father insisted that I watch this movie in a theater with him. I covered my eyes through out the entire movie. It wasn't until I was teenager during the 80's that I watched horror movies in theaters. When The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was first released on VHS I watched it for the first time and immediately noticed how influencial the movie is. Although it was not as gory as some of the other horror movies that I watched during my teens, watching The Texas Chainsaw Massacre made me feel as though I was experiencing another individual's nightmare. It is regrettable that my eyes were closed while the movie was playing all of those years ago. I would have had the privelage of watching a milestone in American cinematic horror. Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th may be classics, but Tobe Hooper probably introduced the masked murdering madman to American audiences first.
The extras are extensive and the restoration has made The Texas Chainsaw Massacre look better than ever.
