I bought this product so I could just throw my laptop in my bag and go without having to try and find a sleeve to put it in first. It does a great job protecting from scrapes and dents caused by every day use. The only downside is that it seems to slightly distort the sound coming from from the laptop's speakers, but I generally have sound playing through external speakers or headphones anyway.

This is a great, hassle free 802.11ac router and Time Machine backup device. My MacBook Pro and iPhone automatically recognized it and the set up and managing is extremely easy using the AirPort Utility app. I can back up my Mac from anywhere in the house providing the computer is plugged into a power source.
