A Must-Play VR Title (if you have Move Controller)

I'll admit, previews of this game don't do it justice. It seems like you're just teleporting everywhere without the actual thrills/gore of DOOM 2016.
But that's not 100% true, there's a smooth movement option, and if you're playing with a Move Controller (or better yet, the PS VR Aim controller), this is a pretty unique experience.
I wouldn't recommend playing this if all you have is a regular PS4 controller. DOOM 2016 is already 60fps and plays great: this won't really offer you anything better.

Writing's getting sloppy, but still entertaining

It's no secret that this season of GoT had some of the sloppiest writing in series history. Far too many leaps in logic (lightning fast ravens and Gendries) and unfulfilling/forced plot resolutions (like Jorah Mormont's story or the Jon/Dany thing). But I suspect with two years to write the final season, this won't be an issue for Season 8.
All that being said, the show's still entertaining to watch: great visuals & CG, great sound & music, some nice dialogue. It's serviceable. Game of Thrones at its worst is still better than many things I've seen on TV.

I'm loving these steelbooks, and this one has some truly beautiful art. But since these are limited editions designed for enthusiasts and are guaranteed to sell out anyway, why not release a 3D version? Would've gladly paid a few more dollars for one.

Great Funko, I especially like how the hands are making the webshooting signs. And I love that this is actually a bobblehead, unlike a few funkos I've received. Only thing I might've liked would've been an optional plastic stand like some funkos I have, but it does a decent job at standing on its own.

Big thing that sets this year's Madden apart are the move to a new engine (FrostBite, the same one that Battlefield uses) and a new story mode. Both are fantastic additions. Frostbite makes everything look just a touch more realistic, and Longshot is actually very well written and acted.
Also something I thought I'd mention is that online Co-op is back: it's stupid that this great feature was ever taken out in the first place, so it deserves to be mentioned that it's back in now.
I also think it's very fitting that the best QB of this generation is the cover boy for the best Madden this generation.

Best value for the money

I don't think the Skyrim remaster is perfect: it looks a little better than the PS3/360 versions, but still runs at a very lame 30fps. Had this remaster been upgraded to 60, this review would've been 5 stars.
However, the value in this package is insanely good. A very beautiful steelbook alone makes it worth it: the hat is kind of goofy but welcome nonetheless: I think I would've preferred a Dohvakin Funko or some other relevant collectible instead of the hat.
Still, this bundle's an amazing value.
