Great SCI FI Classic

Hard to believe it's been 20 years since this film came out. I actually had two DVDs of it but could never get them recognized by my Vudu account for digital transfer. This Blu-Ray included the digital download. So I have the disc and the digital format for one low price and its a higher resolution.
If you have not seen any of Luc Besson's films you're in for a treat. If you have seen this and haven't seen it in a higher definition format then you're still in for a treat. The vibrant colors really pop out at you. And the story line is still just as entertaining.

Granted the first GI Joe was no cinematic masterpiece, but it was good entertainment. And the fans of the original cartoon series loved it. This follow-up is an obvious grab at cash riding on the coattails of its predecessor.

Definitely a great spin on the family outing genre. All of the actors were great but the young kid playing the "son" is definitely someone to keep your eye on. I think he will fall into the great character actor category. And of course Jennifer Aniston is just great. I always get surprised how well she acts because you get distracted by the good looks.
