loved the series and bought the 1st 4 after Christmas and season 5 wasn't available when it finally there cost what 2 of the others cost but that was what everybody else was charging
it makes me laugh when they have TV series on sale BUT you can't find the first or second years,,, seems dumb to buy if you can't finish out the whole series

bought on sale average price for 16 gig flash drive.no lanyard ..no cap to loose so you end up keeping in your pocket, SO IT doesn't keep dirt out of contacts

Can I rewind or playback from a specific place in the music?
regrettably NO always start from beginning when shut off and turned on you can pause but don't turn off unit or see above

Does this play itself , or do i have to hook it to a receiver.
I am looking for my elderly Mom -- something that plays just CD's -- no radio, no tuner, etc.
Just a quality CD player that holds 5-6 CDs. Something that has its own speakers. Just basic with good sound. I cannot find anything this simple. Please help.

I want to know if I can add wireless speakers to this item
mine is a 390 without a B so don't know but it's a changer 4 a audio system ..not a stand alone unit if your amp supports it I guess it will work

Does this cd player only play cds? Does it have a radio? How much does it cost?
NO it is not a boom box and does not have a radio it is a add on for a stereo system and plays audio cd's and disk mp3's

Do I need a separate amplifier or can I feed speakers direct?
no you need a amp. it is a add on component not a boom box

Is this CD player compatable with my Vizio 5.1 surround sound system?
I have a Vizio 5.1 sound bar with 2 sat speakers and subwoofer for my TV, but will this CD player hook up and play through my sound system and if not, which CD player will?
not sure what input plugs and how many choices are on your sound bar . the player needs RCA plug inputs and a amplifier. I don't use a soundbar and it will only be 2 channel stereo
