Easy to install. Easy to connect to SONOS and start playing songs. we got this to hook up speakers on our patio. Extra bonus for us was it allowed us to connect other rooms.

do you need to place your speakers a certain distance from lights or elec. wire I'm using ns-ic600

We did not have to place a certain distance from lights. In fact one of the speakers is next to a light in the ceiling and we have not experienced any static.

I had one of their "geek squad" members come out and give me a plan and quote on speakers and surround sound equipment. I used their advice and had everything prewired during construction of my home.
