We had read the reviews from consumer reports and took their advice when purchasing this unit. We were so unimpressed we had to get a different Samsung model. Some of the issues we found are a manufacturer issue that persists regardless of the model.
negatives:
Showcase door doesn't latch properly and consistently is left ajar.
Motor is loud.
Ice dispenser control board had to be replaced.
Water pump to refill the ice reservoir is so loud it stops the conversation in the kitchen and living room when it turns on. It sound like a chipmunk is trapped inside the freezer.
