Heavy enough to mount on dash without it falling.

At first I thought that this device would fall over or become jarred enough to fall off the dash, but it seems to be heavy enough to stay in place. I feel that this device is necessary, for it is my understanding that is against Wisconsin law to mount a GPS on the windshield, although this law is rarely enforced.My only complaint is that I feel it is rather expensive for the purpose it serves.

I found it hard to rate this item because I could not get it to play a Blu-ray DVD! I would get a message stating "You are not connected to the internet." I had to return this player.
