A Great Soundbar and Easy Installation

The VIZIO SB4451-C0 SmartCast 44-Inch 5.1 Channel Sound Bar System (2016 Model) is truly a great buy. The price may seem high, but for what you get, it is well worth every penny.
The system came packaged in one single box containing all the five components. Included was a 44” sound bar speaker, 2 satellite speakers, and a large subwoofer. Included in the package were all cables, connectors, and diagram of easy set up and instillation.
The wall mount template truly made the mounting of the sound bar a breeze. What I did need to buy was dry wall mounting screws to attach the sound bar mounting brackets to the wall. That was an inexpensive purchase.

Set up and instillation was super easy because of the clear forward instructions. Setting up the sound bar with the tv was also simple. The supplied manual gave all the details and also gave three different cable connection suggestions for the best sound quality.
In my home I have the disadvantage of a large open floor plan. There is no acoustical material or enclosed space for sound to bounce around. As a result the sound I would originally hear from my TV usually diffuses quickly. So until this VIZIO Sound Bar System was installed, TV was very difficult to hear especially when someone was in the kitchen, which was open to the TV/ living room area. Now after installing the new SOUND BAR, I can not only hear the great quality of the stereo system of the bar, but also can hear the clear defined speech which was almost impossible before.
The speaker system really creates a feeling of a home movie theater.
Because the subwoofer and the rear satellite speakers are wireless, it enables me to place the components throughout the room until the ideal spot was found for perfect surround sound quality.

Another great feature is having the sound bar as a regular blue tooth wireless speaker. This allows me to play any Bluetooth such as Pandora over the speakers. The sound bar produces a much better quality sound than any other wireless speakers that I currently have.
All in all I would recommend this VIZIO 5.1 Channel Sound Bar System for anyone looking to enhance the sound quality of your TV.

Perfect Stands For Small HTIB Speakers

First off, this is a set of two stands -- the product description could certainly be clearer. The bases are good and heavy and the poles and even the L-bracket for mounting the speakers are very heavy gauge steel. The stands are not extremely tall, but they're the perfect height for my particular setup, and taller ones would probably tip (I mounted the front/back left/right speakers from a Samsung Blu-Ray HTIB with a set of 4 of these).
The tightening ring is, as others have mentioned, plastic, but it should be durable enough if it isn't over-tightened. That said, these stands really are mostly for the "home theater in a box" speakers. If you replace the ring with a metal piece (not too hard to find at a hardware store), you could probably handle heavier speakers, but they'd be more likely to tip, since the base is not terribly wide side-to-side. If I had heavy expensive speakers that needed stands, I would go for a professional grade tripod, not cheap home stands.
Assembly was ridiculously simple, though the instructions are insane in telling you to thread the speaker wire after assembly. Don't do that -- assemble the base to the first pole, thread the wire through that, thread the wire through the bent pole, THEN screw the two together. It also helps to bend back any exposed leads when pushing the speaker wire through, otherwise it will get caught on the rough surface inside. Easier yet is to just thread through some fishing line on a small sinker and pull the wire through.

Solid Soundbar System

Out of the box, this system sounded amazing. Took me maybe 5 minutes to set up, with half of that installing the app on my phone and pairing the Bluetooth. Sound quality was deep and rich, and incredibly loud.
We put this in our home theater, which is in the back of a 3.8k sq ft house. My wife, who was outside the front of the house, thought it was thundering outside when I tested the sub. Thankfully all of the other speakers chime off their respective locations when tested, and she knew then to just tell me to turn it down.
The included cables are a nice touch, giving you literally everything you need to get a standard TV/console/sound system hooked up. Pretty much every cable hook up you can think of was in there. Unfortunately, most of the cables are too short for a home theater setup. I think most were in the 3' range. Again, think entertainment center, and you'd be fine.
Besides that, only two minor complaints: First, it does not work well with Atlantic Satellite 77305018 speaker stands, even though they are recommended by Amazon and "frequently bought with". The attachment mechanism doest not work well with the cords and I ended up having to get far more creative than I would have liked to get them securely attached. If possible, skip the stands, because the wall mounts are pretty solid. I may yet abandon the stands for the wall mounts, if I can find a way to hide the cords. Second, no 4k pass through means I'm using optical instead of HDMI arc, which my Xbox isnt the biggest fan of. It still works just fine, but it could be better.
Tl;dr for $400, this system is a great buy. Slim sub is awesome, will annoy neighbors with your kickin new beats
