I bought this tripod to do tabletop copystand work when dealing with documents and published texts that I cannot scan due to their fragility. Overall, I was pleased with the performance vs.cost.

What's great about it: Perfect height for impromptu copystand work.
What's not so great: Legs extension tends to be a tad "sticky".
