I bought these to go with my Sony surround system, the setup was easy, but in the end, they did not work. You need a power source at the receiver and at the back of the room. The concept, in theory, is great, in reality, it is not worth the hassle to hide an additional box and you still need wires from the wireless box to the speakers.

Let me first start out by saying that I had no intention of purchasing this item. However, after using this my iPad Pro for about a week, I realized the on screen keyboard was a pain. I do a lot of work and typing, so I broke down and bought the keyboard. The keyboard is awesome, really nice feeling while typing and the keys are sensitive and do not require hard pounding.
What I will caution is during the installation (which is connecting the magnets), make sure the key iPad sits nestled in the keyboard, or it won't work. At first I thought mine was defective, then I realized it needed to sit locked into the keyboard for it to work. It uses the power from the iPad and I haven't noticed a significant drain.
Overall, this is an investment, and worth every penny.
