Doug McHenry's urban drama Jason's Lyric comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Surround. Subtitles are accessible in both of those languages as well. Supplemental materials include the original theatrical trailer and a collectible booklet. The film looks and sounds fine, although it could look and sound better. This is an acceptable, if run-of-the-mill DVD release from MGM/UA.

this is a great CD -- the best songs are Ms. Fat Booty, UMI says as these are singles but also Hip Hop and Brooklyn also shine on this ... great album overall -- get this along with Talib Kweli/Hi Tek Reflections Eternal and Rawkus Records compilation vol 1 from 95-2005 and you have a great set displaying the Rawkus family

this was a great introduction of 3rd Bass -- the reason to get this one is due to the regular album version of Wordz of Wisdom as this is the best song that shows the lyrical skills of MC Serch and Pete Nice ... great CD overall but this song is not on the greatest hits only the remix version ... otherwise the greatest hits of 3rd Bass would have been purchased instead

This is the movie that should have won Oscar for best picture ... it is that good and I was extremely surprised on how Jonelle Monae acted .. she is one that has a pretty good future if she wants to act... but Octavia and Taraji are the ones that make this movie shine... great movie
