We bought this for our bedroom tv. The signal isn't the best at times but it is dirt cheap and beats the pants off of cable.

What's great about it: Its Cheap the way I like it

What's not so great: Its cheap so it won't last long

Its an antenna. It works. I wasn't impressed or unimpressed. It It did the job it said it did. I didn't think it was worth the full price.

What's not so great: Felt fragile. My one year old will more than likely destroy it before I can use it

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
