I love my 7D from the day I have had it about three weeks now, Just was amazed at how poor my IQ image quality was. I had try different lens for hours until I found the best tack sharpest picture I expected in this price range and found it. The camera is awesome and the images I have now are tack sharp. After reading about the 28-135 lens being catagorized as a 10 mega pixel lens I drop the setting on the camera to medium and retested the kit lens, it still sucked! Please don't be affraid of purchasing this body just test the lens on it or purchase one that can deliver the kind of photos you would like. I am writing this review so others do not need to go through the difficulty I had to. Test the lens, the Camera 7D is almost perfect in IQ. I tested the Canon 15-85 a new lens and Sigma 17-50 also new. Both of these lens bring all the pixels and produces the great pictures, I did go with the Sigma though. it's f2.8, focus faster and sharper just incase some one would like to know. Please make sure you test your new 7D and especially the lens, I could have gotten a bad copy. but I would like to pass on my experiences.
What's great about it: The IQ, super fast focus , 8fps continuos shooting HD video waterproofing. look feel
What's not so great: Expensive , takes time to adjust to a different system, need adition lens
