Simon Langton's adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, which originally aired on A&E, comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original broadcast ratio of 2.35:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are neither subtitles nor closed captions on this release. Supplemental materials include a making-of featurette, biographies of Austen as well as the cast and crew of the film, and a collectible booklet. Fans of literary adaptations will greatly enjoy this handsomely presented disc.

This is one of my daughter's favorite movies. She was looking to buy it so she can watch it over and over. Movie is a matter of preference...there are different versions.

works great

This item works great. I bought it so the kids could manipulate the songs from the back seat or passenger seat....and they can. However, when I am in the car by myself, I have to stick the ipod in my cup holder so it doesn't slide around. That is the only downfall.....which isn't a downfall to me. I've had it over a year and it works consistently...no matter where we drive.
What's great about it: Works great
What's not so great: Doesn't hold your ipod in a fixed position
I would recommend this to a friend!
