Long-lasting

Sometimes I feel like ink is so expensive, but really I only replace my ink maybe once a year. This ink lasts SO long. I think the box says I get over 500 prints from this one cartridge.
The companion ink is the tri-color 57. I've never experienced clumping from this brand or these catridges so KUDOS!
What's great about it: So many prints!

Great Gift for my Bat-nerd
on December 2, 2010

This was my proudest buy for Christmas last year. The movie is fantastic, the acting was phenomenal, and this CE turned out to be a great addition to my Bat-nerds collection.
Although the Blu-Ray disc holder is literally part of the figurine display, if you return it to the plastic box you bought it in, you can slide it into a square place.
I think I'll have a difficult time topping this one ... he's getting gloves and a hat this year.
What's great about it: It's a collectible item
What's not so great: It must have it's own space... it doesn't fit next to your other movies

I think Katy said in an interview that her parents were a little embarrassed by some of her lyrics ("I kissed a Girl", "Ur So Gay").
This album is creative, witty, and whimsical. You're getting twelve strong songs. I love it!

This is a fun album. I like One of the Boys a little better, but I have to admit, I was super excited to add this to my collection. Not a disappointment.

My Favorite Movie

I have owned this movie THREE times! I wore out the first two and received the director's cut as a gift from my most recent boyfriend.
I know all the words and love most of the cars. Nic Cage is a bad man :)
I fall asleep to the opening credits every night in less than 60 seconds, lol.
What's great about it: The Cars, Nic Cage, the humor
What's not so great: It wears out after a ba-jillion views! LOL
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bella Swan (Stewart) doesn't expect much when she moves to the small town of Forks, Washington, until she meets the mysterious and handsome Edward Cullen (Pattinson) - a boy who's hiding a dark secret he's a vampire. As their worlds and hearts collide, Edward must battle the bloodlust raging inside him as well as a coterie of undead that would make Bella their prey. Based on the #1 New York Times best-selling sensation by Stephenie Meyer, Twilight adds a dangerous twist to the classic story of star-crossed lovers.

Will plasma last as long as LCD?

Absolutely! Most plasma's have a 40 year expected life, with a half-life of 20 years. Panasonic boasts an even longer life span. Will I ever see the results - Probably not.

The cool thing about plasma televisions:

1) The screen is more sturdy because the glass cannot be ripped (if your Wii-mote flies into it, it probably won't break - this translates to kid-safe)

2) Plasma gas is environmentally friendly and does not leak or need to be recharged. If a pixel goes out in your LCD television, you have to pay to replace the entire LCD screen - you cannot replace one pixel. If a light goes out on a rear projection, not only do you pay to replace the light, but you'll also have to have the lights realigned which usually costs around $350

3) LCD's were made for computers with the intention of playing video games. Plasma's have faster response times and are more suited for watching fast-action sports and movies

I am the owner of a 17" Samsung LCD, 40" Sony CRT, and 58" Panasonic plasma. My favorite by far: the Panasonic 1080p

Can you watch 3D movies on a regular TV that is not a flat screen?

I wanted to know if you got a 3D ready DVD player if you could play a 3D movie.
Yes you can. Instead of choosing the 3D option, you would choose the 2D option on the DVD menu.

Because each brand of 3D TV has it's own pair of glasses and sends out its own signal, experiencing the 3D movie will not work on a regular TV set - (even if you find or buy a pair of 3D glasses) but you can definitely borrow, buy, or rent a 3D movie and watch it in 2D.

Does Best Buy carry t.v.'s made for outdoors/

I'm not sure who carries them, but the Barleycorn's in Highland Heights, KY has Panasonic plasmas hanging outside on their patio under a wooden porch. They seem to be lasting pretty well so I have to imagine that's the brand to look in to.
